As the movement against seed oils rages on, consumer demand for alternatives like olive oil is rising. Even so, the category as a whole is plagued by mundane graphics and boring, traditional glass bottles.
Enter Graza, which is injecting whimsy and innovation into the segment with its bright, playfully-branded squeeze bottles offered in two varieties: “Sizzle” Cooking Oil and “Drizzle” Finishing Oil. This year, the brand took its clever packaging designs one step further by launching beer can-style refills for both varieties, blurring the lines between utility, sustainability and aesthetics.
That approach appears to be paying off: The brand is currently available in over 13,000 doors nationwide and is forecast to reach 18,500 by year’s end, as reported by New Hope Network. Additionally, Graza’s total sales are projected to surpass $48 million this year.
Collaborations have also been a key part of Graza’s growth strategy. This year alone, it launched a co-branded granola – “Grazola” – with whole fruit snacks brand RIND and a “Little Drizzle” baby food collection with Little Spoon. Previously, the brand joined forces with Aura Bora to release a limited edition non-alcoholic “Olive Oil Martini.”
