THC Beverage Sales District Manager - NC

Summary:

 Modern Infusions, a division of Theory Wellness, is an established regional cannabis brand that is launching its hemp THC Brands (Hi5 and Five Islands) in the North Carolina market. The Beverage District Manager is responsible for maximizing sales, distribution, and profitability of the portfolio within the assigned area. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Territory: Covering all accounts throughout North Carolina
  • Lead the overall effort to maximize sales, distribution, and profitability within the assigned area
  • Plan, execute & achieve district goals and objectives for sales, product distribution and service
  • Work with distributor sales team to secure new business and building existing accounts
  • Identify, target, and develop potential new accounts within assigned territory
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, efficiency, and service levels
  • Provide market and competitive information to distributor sales team to educate on and gain alignment against sales strategy decisions 
  • Ensure optimal and maximum utilization of promotional programs and company resources
  • Plan, organize and facilitate tastings, events, and trade shows
  • Assist in the selection, indoctrination, and training of sales personnel within the district as needed
  • Schedule/prepare monthly KPI meetings and annual business planning meetings to drive district goals
  • Stay current on market-wide business trends and developments
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned 
  • Manage core chain/buying group call points for the district
  • Identify and execute opportunities to drive brand activation through partnerships, event sponsorships and marketing opportunities across the district

Requirements:

  • Two years of related beverage sales management experience
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Able to adapt to changes
  • Reliable Transportation
  • High energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including late nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Regular and sustained periods of physical exertion requiring ability to lift, carry and position objects using proper body mechanics (10 to 15 pounds consistently and 25 to 40 pounds occasionally)
  • Significant periods of time spent in a vehicle, traveling to accounts within assigned territory
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check - No drug-related felony convictions
