Cleveland Kitchen

Cleveland Kitchen has recognized the potential for fermented foods far beyond sauerkraut, which is why the company rebranded from Cleveland Kraut last year. It has grown from a local farmers market brand to a national distributed player in the space, and now operates its own 30,000 square foot commercial plant in Cleveland.

The company is on a mission to help consumers reap the benefits of gut-healthy foods, and this year built on this goal with new products and distribution. 

It has established a wider platform for fermented foods and continued to offer innovation in the refrigerated produce set, growing the business to dressings and marinades and this year adding kimchi and Dilly Garlic Picked Chips and Picked Spears to the mix. The brand is now distributed at over 9,000 retail locations, finding a home not only in natural retailers like Whole Foods and Sprouts but also in the conventional and club channels, this year growing its footprint at Walmart and Costco.
