Seven Organic Teas & Lemonades was founded in 2014 in Santa Monica, CA by brothers Jeremy and Josh Issakharian (aka “The Brew Bros”) who share the love of adventure, travel, and tea. “Tea is in our roots. We grew up on our Mom’s southern sweet tea and Dad’s Persian hot tea [the brothers' father is from Iran]. It was always in our house. This imparted a reverence for herbs and tea traditions from around the world. Along our travels, we discovered unique stories, meanings, and purposes behind different teas. Seven Teas is our way of sharing these authentic, important cultural stories with the world,” says Jeremy.

The brothers spent years learning about tea traditions and product quality, leading to their ethical sourcing of only Fair Trade Certified tea, plus ensuring all products are Real Brewed and Non-GMO, and utilizing Mountain Spring Water in the Glass line. Seven lives by the motto: “Brew Good Things. Do Good Things.” The Seven ethos seeks to give tea a deeper meaning, to contribute to a sustainable ecosystem that helps lives, farmers, agriculture, and everyone who is part of the tea journey. Every bottle reflects quality, best-tasting, uncompromised ingredients, and giving back to communities, including support for the 1% For the Planet organization to invest in a healthy and thriving earth.

Josh and Jeremy launched the “Traditional Teas” 16oz Glass bottles line in 2017 and spent years sampling the flavors to shoppers in a variety of stores, listening to consumers & retailers, and improving the ingredients and packaging until the product grew into a cult classic in a few targeted areas of the country.  The top sellers in this line are their White Peach Oolong Tea, sourced from China, the Berry Hibiscus Rooibos Tea, sourced from South Africa, and the Wildflower Honey Matcha Tea, sourced from Japan.

In 2020-2021, in the midst of Covid and numerous iced tea brand shutdowns (Honest, Tazo, etc), Jeremy and Josh saw the need for a new mainstream, yet approachable and price-conscious, slightly sweet organic iced tea in a more sustainable, easily recyclable canned format that could re-energize a stale, but still top selling, category. They arrived on the concept of a “Road Trip in Every Sip” for the 16oz 70-Calorie Classics in Cans to pay homage to iced tea and lemonade traditions throughout the US (and to complement their world-traveling 16oz Glass line), with iconic tea flavors including Georgia Peach, Uptown Half & Half, Maui Mango, Rojo Raspberry, and Golden Honey, plus lemonades Southern Strawberry and Classic Roadside (formerly Roadside Ginger).

Seven Organic Teas and Lemonades are available for sale at Whole Foods & Sprouts nationwide, Ralphs, Publix, Natural Grocers, Raleys, The Fresh Market, Erewhon, Mom’s Organic Market, New Seasons, Central Market, Bristol Farms, INFRA, NCG, Gelson’s, Weis Markets, King’s, Lazy Acres, Uncle Giuseppi’s, Wild by Nature, Market of Choice, and many more. Distribution is steadily growing in independent stores in key markets & cities through distributors Rainforest, LA Distributing, C&S Distributors, DPI, and Chex, plus UNFI & KeHE.
