NOSH Live Pitch Slam 13: The Humble Seed, Mojave Mallows Named Finalists

The 13th installment of NOSH Live Winter’s Pitch Slam is now less than 30 days away, and it’s time to reveal two more competitors: grain-free cracker brand The Humble Seed and gourmet marshmallow maker Mojave Mallows.

Launched in 2022 by longtime CPG exec Sarah Meis, The Humble Seed produces a line of grain-free, gluten-free and nut-free crackers. The line, now sold in Sprouts, is available in three flavors: Garlic Herb, Sea Salt and Everything.

Also launched earlier this year, California-based Mojave Mallows i makes handmade, gourmet, agave and date sweetened marshmallows. The company’s portfolio includes single-serve Marshmallow Packs, S’more Kits, Marshmallow Bouquets and Mega Mallows, all in a variety of creative flavors.

On Dec. 2, The Humble Seed and Mojave Mallows will take to the NOSH Live stage, competing against a slate of emerging brands, including Resist Nutrition, Mindright, Mooski and Sunnie, who are looking to take home the win. Selected by a judging panel of CPG experts, NOSH Live’s Pitch slam winner will receive a $10,000 advertising package and join the ranks of past Pitch Slam champions including Ruani, Kokada, Cocina 54, Elite Sweets, Savorly, Beckon, and Creation Nation.

The two-day conference will also include mainstage content featuring speakers such as Whole30 founder and CEO Melissa Urban and Kroger natural strategy and innovation manager Holly Adrien. In addition, attendees can take part in our Elevator Talk pitch series and Boot Camp educational workshops as well as sample the latest innovations in natural food and engage in networking with well-connected industry leaders.
