Magic Spoon, Mid-Day Squares Founders to Talk E-Commerce at NOSH Live on June 13+14

Strong digital marketing skills and an ecommerce business are the table stakes for launching a natural food brand. At NOSH Live on June 13 and 14 in New York City, attendees will hear from two brands who are leading the charge when it comes to mastering their online presences.

After they started and sold Exo, a line of cricket protein products, Gabi Lewis and Gregory Sewitz co-founded cereal brand Magic Spoon in 2019. The low-carb, low-sugar line has quickly developed a loyal following, gaining 350,000 instagram followers and investor backing from musician Questlove, comedian Amy Schumer, Coefficient Capital, Lightspeed Ventures and RSE Ventures. Now, on the precipice of an expansion into brick and mortar retail and a move beyond the cereal bowl, Lewis will take to the NOSH Live stage share lessons learned from Exo and how those have influenced the business strategy at Magic Spoon.

NOSH Live attendees will also hear from the three co-founders of confection brand Mid-Day Squares. Started just under four years ago in its co-founders’ condo kitchen, Mid-Day Squares recently raised $10 million from investors who believe the protein and fiber enhanced line of chocolate has the power to challenge industry stalwarts. At NOSH Live, Co-Founders Lezlie Karls and Nick Saltarelli will be joined by their third co-founder, Jake Karls, to discuss with Taste Radio Editor and Producer Ray Latif how the trio have capitalized on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok to drive sales.

These entrepreneurs will join executives, founders and thought leaders from some of the top investors, brands and retailers in the natural products’ community to share lessons, stories of success and struggle, and strategies they have learned from their time in the industry.
