Boot Camp: Education to Get You Started on Day 1
On the morning of Day 1, industry newcomers attending NOSH Live can learn the basics of running a food business and jumpstart their networking during Boot Camp. Experts will present on the 5 topics early-stage food brands need to know, including finance, sales, marketing, design, and operations.
Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with the experts and ask them their toughest questions. Here are the details:

Boot Camp is a fast dive into the basics of launching a food brand with hand-chosen CPG experts and entrepreneurs. All Boot Camp Presentations are 15 minutes, starting at 8 a.m.; as soon as all speakers are finished, attendees join them at round tables for individual Q and A.

Inside the TruFru Deal: Product, People and Position

The trio will discuss Trü Frü’s business strategy, growth, and the factors of its story that made it appealing to an acquirer such as Mars. Exploring both the early stages of the brand and its expansion, the group will help the audience understand how a deal could be proposed that revealed to Mars and other companies Trü Frü’s potential as an acquisition target, and the process that it took to accomplish the sale.

While they might be different from other companies in their categories, they have characteristics in common and have grown as insurgent brands by applying a common growth model.
