Beyond Meat

Founded in 2009, Beyond Meat has had a wild decade -- growing from a small, yet innovative, startup to one of the leading players in the plant-based revolution sweeping grocery store shelves.  

With fast growth year after year, Beyond Meat’s plant-based burger patties, ground beef alternative and sausage are now sold in over 58,000 retail and foodservice outlets worldwide. 2019 was no exception to this rapid growth - and the IPO served to not just create a lot of capital to fuel expansion, it also brought massive attention to this new way of eating.

That has helped the company further cement its status in the minds of American shoppers, beginning with the February announcement of new brand ambassadors and investors in current and former NBA stars Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul and Shaquille O’Neal, as well as football player DeAndre Hopkins and skier Lindsey Vonn.

With a brand promise of “Eat What You Love,” Beyond Meat plans to continue to help consumers find new, easier ways to enjoy plant-based versions of their classic favorites.
