NOSH Live Summer 2022: Looking Forward & Creating Win/Win Partnerships with Whole Foods Market
The past two years have been arduous for most food brands — but it’s also trying for retailers. At NOSH Live Summer 2022 in New York City, attendees will hear from executives at leading natural products retailer Whole Foods Market who will not only reflect back on the past few years but also turn their gaze forward to share how brands can be successful on Whole Foods Market store shelves.
Taking the Metropolitan Pavilion stage to discuss the retailer/brand relationship will be Dan Epley VP for Whole Foods Market’s dry grocery team, as well as David Lafferty, an executive at Whole Foods Market responsible for the merchandising and P&L of the candy, snacks, beverages, and bulk teams. With over 42 years of combined experience in CPG, Epley and Lafferty will pull from their rich histories to help brands begin to chart their own paths forward.
In a fireside chat, the duo will provide insight into how brands can best work with Whole Foods Market, trends in the industry that are reflected in merchandising assortment and insight into what the rest of 2022 may hold for natural food brands. They’ll also provide an update on how the retailer is working with local food brands across the country.
But the lessons won’t stop with the mainstage sessions, NOSH Live attendees will also have the opportunity to attend the NOSH Live Bootcamp, held Monday morning, to gain fluency in the basics of the food business from expert instructors; additionally, judges in the NOSH Live Pitch Slam will provide on-the-spot feedback to participants, offering valuable advice for both contestants and viewers.
