Painterland Sisters

Hayley and Stephanie Painter founded skyr yogurt brand Painterland Sisters three years ago in an effort to preserve, showcase and utilize their family’s organic regenerative dairy farm. Regenerative dairy farming is continuing to gain momentum, as it helps improve soil health, increases biodiversity and enhances resilience to climate change.

Available in a variety of flavors, including Strawberry Fields and Meadow Berry, the brand’s lactose-free products contain up to 21 grams of protein per cup with gut-friendly probiotics. The yogurt is made from pasture-raised dairy and is free from antibiotics, hormones and synthetic chemicals.

Painterland Sisters’ approach to dairy farming has proven fruitful: in August, the brand closed a seven-figure round led by The Angel Group, its partner fund Supernatural Ventures, and Spacestation Investments. While Spacestation typically shies away from refrigerated products, it was compelled by the brand’s growth data, Forbes reported.

Additionally, the brand recently secured a nationwide partnership with Whole Foods Market, bringing its total door count to over 5,000, including Giant, Fresh Thyme and Costco, among others. As it continues to expand its distribution footprint, the brand will use the fresh capital injection to support operations and innovation.
