Nosh Live Winter 2024: Goodles to Share Confessions of a Fast-Growing Brand
Growth doesn’t solve all of a brand’s problems and fast growth doesn’t solve them faster, but it does force you to deal with more of them, and sooner. That means that it’s good to hear from those involved in fast growth to map out the path.
That’s why Nosh Live will feature the co-founder and CEO of Goodles, Jennifer Zeszut, in a discussion alongside one of the breakout brand’s earliest financial backers, Springdale Ventures’ Genevieve Gilbreath.
Together the two will address the ways that the brand’s growth has quickly forced them to address challenges that are both operational and funding related, and outline ways that the relationship between investors and entrepreneurs can change as the stakes increase.
Zeszut will share some of the challenges that came hard and fast to the company internally – the kinds of issues that are papered over externally as endcaps and Instagram start to give the impression of ubiquity. With Gilbreath, she will talk through the ways that perspectives on capital change from the days of self-funding through seed and further investing rounds, and the challenges that come with bringing new investor voices into the conversation as more financing follows.
Zeszut, a veteran of several different startups, and Gilbreath, who has invested in and advised a broad portfolio of consumer brands, will give the Nosh audience a keen look at the ways a company – and its challenges – evolve when the clock starts racing, providing advice for helping a brand grow effectively when it starts to grow quickly.
Food brands also have the opportunity to meet one-to-one with Whole Foods Market. Register for the event to receive the sign up form.
In addition to industry presentations and networking, attendees can watch startups compete in the Nosh Live Pitch Slam, attend Boot Camp, network at the Nosh Live happy hour, and sample the latest innovations in packaged food.
