Shawn Bushouse is an industry triple threat, having worn the hats of investor, operator and acquirer during his dynamic career. Bushouse, a longtime leader in the packaged food business, is currently an operating advisor at GroundForce Capital, an investment management firm backing startups rooted in sustainability and health.

Until recently, however, Bushouse was the president of Emerging Brands for Nestle Health Science, managing a portfolio of high-growth companies, partnering with Founders to scale their brands. He joined Nestle Health Science through its acquisition of Vital Proteins, where he served as COO and CFO. There, he developed a robust scaling business model focused on category disruption and hypergrowth

Weaving in work with both acquisition targets and as an acquirer, Bushouse also brings extensive experience growing food businesses, while also understanding what it takes for brands to position themselves for partnership and sale to larger entities. As an angel and institutional investor, he also has an eye for the objectives that brands need to meet as they try to attract growth capital.
