Airly Crackers

Late last year, Post Holdings executives formed Bright Future Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of the CPG company focused on “visionary innovation and scientific solutions.” For their first brand Airly, launched this year, the company zeroed in on sustainability, debuting a line of Oat Clouds —crackers utilizing “climate positive oats” which are grown using practices that remove carbon from the air and trap it in the soil. With sweet and savory options including Cheddar, Sea Salt, Chocolate and Salted Caramel flavors, the snacks are made with barley from EverGrain -- an ingredient company backed by brewing giant Anheuser-Busch that makes proteins and fibers from AB InBev's spent grains. According to the company, each box sold removes between 18g to 21g of CO2 from the air.
