Beck & Bulow is a company built on honoring the buffalo and the belief that meat from animals that live in a free and wild way is vital for our personal, community, and planetary health. In the same way that buffalo meat makes your body strong, small businesses with a conscience like Beck & Bulow help to build a strong community and re-connection with the ways that nature meant for us to live.

Our ranch is just south of Madrid, New Mexico on 20,000 acres, an oasis of crystal clear natural springs, rolling green hills, and vibrant blue skies. The buffalo have so much space to roam that it’s not always guarantee you will catch a glimpse of them when visiting.

Tony and John-Paul began their journey selling buffalo meat in 2018 at Farmers Markets in New Mexico, building relationships with the community and sharing their passion for homegrown, high-quality meat. Their love for the buffalo comes from deeply rooted respect for the earth and the ancient ways that people have lived on this land for millennia. This business was founded on that love. Each time a person brings this meat into their life is a step taken for us all on the path to a more balanced and heartfelt way of living. Tony and JP had no idea how far their small stand at the farmers market would take them, and how much growth would take place in such a short period of time. Today, after two fleeting years, the company has expanded to every farmer's market in the region, selling meat at local stores, and a thriving internet delivery service.

Meat is butchered by Amish farmers in Colorado, who have worked together their entire lives perfecting their craft and treating the meat with the utmost attentiveness; five people work simultaneously on each animal. Everything is then packaged with care by our own employees at our warehouse in Santa Fe. From there, the incredibly fresh and high-quality meat is shipped in an insulated box with dry ice directly to the doorsteps of our devoted customers nationwide.
