Plenty of new products hit the shelves this July, including several treats to beat the summer heat. This month saw ice cream launches from McConnell’s, Oatly and Perfect Day and on-the-go smoothie options from Stonyfield, Buddy Nutrition and Charles & Alice. Check out more of July’s new products below, which also includes launches by Barilla, Chobani and Green Giant.

Chobani’s latest yogurt launch, Greek Yogurt with Nut Butters, pairs low-fat greek yogurt with almond, hazelnut and cashew butters. Available in five flavors sold in 5.3 oz. single-serve cups, the yogurts are available at grocery stores nationwide an MSRP of $1.69.

88 Acres

88 Acres

Seed-based snack company 88 Acres released a limited edition Blueberry Lemon Seed Bar containing a mix of sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds, with 6 g of protein and 11 g of sugar. The bar is available online in 5-pack boxes for $12.

Oatly

Oat milk maker Oatly moved into a new category this month with the launch of oat milk ice cream. The new line will be available at $5.99 per pint in seven flavors-- Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Coffee, Chocolate Chip, Mint Chip and Oat-- at select retailers including Fresh Direct, Wegmans, Whole Foods and Target stores in the coming months.

Barilla

Barilla

Vero Gusto, a new line of premium Italian sauces from Barilla, is available in four flavors: Tomato & Basil, Heritage Marinara, Calabrian Marinara and Sicilian Herb. Jars contain 4.5 half-cup servings, and are available on Amazon.com and select coastal retailers before launching nationally in February 2020.

Green Giant

Green Giant added to its Veggie Swap-ins line with Simply Steam Riced Veggies, available in Riced Cauliflower Casserole, Riced Cauliflower with Broccoli Florets & Cheese Sauce, Riced Cauliflower Italian Style and Riced Cauliflower & Cheese Sauce. The frozen and seasoned riced vegetables with a cauliflower base are available at retailers nationwide at an MSRP of $1.99.

Grillo's Pickles

Pickle company Grillo’s launched Convenient Fresh Packs in smaller 12 oz. and 16 oz. containers. The Hot Dill Spears, Classic Dill Spears, Dill Chips and Sandwich Makers retail for $4.99-$5.99 at retailers including Walmart, Price Chopper and Sprouts.

Buddy Nutrition

Buddy Nutrition, a personalized nutrition service from Hippeas creator Livio Bisterzo and former GNC chief digital officer Dan Obegi, officially launched this month. The brand’s first product is a direct-to-consumer 1.8 oz. smoothie shot, retailing for $79.95 for a 30 day supply.

Hormel Natural Choices added two new all-natural deli meat and cheese snacks to its lineup -- Mediterranean Style Chicken & Bruschetta Jack Cheese and Chipotle Chicken & Queso Quesadilla Cheese. The 2 oz. snack packs are available at retailers nationwide at an MSRP of $1.50-$2.00.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, goat milk cheese brand Laura Chenel launched Probiotic Goat Milk Yogurt, crafted in small batches at its Sonona, California creamery. The new yogurt is available in 4.75 oz. glass jars with foil lids ($2.49) or 23 oz. resealable glass jars ($6.99) at retailers throughout the West Coast.

Grain-free frozen food brand Cappello’s officially launched seven new products: Almond Flour Pizzas (available in Naked, Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni and Italian Sausage), Almond Flour Spaghetti, Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Double Chocolate Cookie Dough. These new products are available online and at Whole Foods, Wegmans, Publix, Gelson’s Erewhon and other natural grocery stores.

Better-for-you snack brand Catalina Snacks announced Catalina Crunch Cheddar Cheese Bites, made with one ingredient -- grass-fed cheddar cheese. The 9 oz. pouches of snacks are sold in 2-packs ($49), 4-packs ($75) and 8-packs ($125) on the brand’s website.

McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams is celebrating 70 years in business three new flavors. The company partnered with three local farms to launch Honey & Cornbread Cookies, Wild Sweet Clover and Olive Oil & Salted Almonds. The new flavors are available at $12 per pint at McConnell’s Scoop Shops and for nationwide shipping.

Instant coffee brand Voila and Mizuba Tea Co. have partnered on a new matcha green tea launch. Each recyclable box contains eight single-serve compostable packets.

French chilled-fruit product brand Charles & Alice’s entered the U.S. market with its latest release: Kids! Fruit Probiotics, available at select Walmart, Meijer and Price Chopper locations. Two 3.2 oz. pouches contain over a serving of fruit and are available in Mango Tango, Southern Peach, Banana Blast, Orchard Pear and Very Berry flavors.

Perfect Day, an animal-free dairy research, development and production company, launched limited edition ice cream made with animal-free dairy protein. Available in Milky Chocolate, Vanilla Salted Fudge and Vanilla Blackberry Toffee, and in $60 bundles, the pints sold out in 24 hours.

Clover Sonoma launched Culinary Butter, spreadable butter available in Garlic & Herb, Lemon Garlic & Herb and Cinnamon & Brown Sugar flavors. Each tub retails for $3.99. The line is in retailers including Mollie Stone’s, Nugget Markets, Lunardi’s, Draeger’s and Oliver’s.

Common Foods launched its first product line, Craft Ramen instant noodle cups with spinach noodles. The noodles are pre-steamed, not fried, and come with a vegetable mix sachet containing carrots, mushrooms and onions. The ramen is available on Amazon for $2.99 per unit or $19.99 per case.

Iceland yogurt brand Siggi’s launched several new products this month: 4-count multipacks, 4% coffee skyr made with cold brew and its first-ever lactose-free line. The brand also re-formulated its Siggi’s Simple Sides line to improve the eating experience.

Fermented food brand Farmhouse Culture announced a rebrand this month. The brand’s new packaging trades out a minimalistic aesthetic for a vibrant design. The brand also added an “Old Fashioned” plain kraut to its kraut lineup.

General Mills deepened its partnership with Good Belly Probiotics this month by launching a line of lactose-free yogurts and Peanut Butter Crunch cereal. General Mills will handle production, sales and marketing for the lines. The yogurt, available in Wild Berry, Vanilla Bean, Peach, Coconut, Strawberry and Black Cherry flavors, retails for $1.49.

Tony’s Chocoloney introduced two new chocolate flavors, White Raspberry Popping Candy and Milk Chocolate Honey Almond Nougat. The bars can be found at stores including New Seasons, Whole Foods, Stop and Shop, Natural Grocers for $5.49 per bar.

Organic yogurt maker Stonyfield Organic announced the launch of Fruit & Veggie Smoothie Pouches, each containing half a serving of fruit. Stonyfield also added the first savory flavors to it snack pack line. All new launches are available at Whole Foods Market nationwide.

SnackFutures

Mondelēz innovation and venture arm SnackFutures announced two new snack lines, Dirt Kitchen and CaPao, both in early stages of development. Both lines play into the concept of food waste: Dirt Kitchen uses upcycled fruits and vegetables to create dried vegetable chips and veggie trail mix, while CaPao makes snacks using parts of cacao plants leftover from chocolate production.

The salsa brand debuted this month a new organic salsa line available in mild and medium flavors in 16 oz. jars. The new line is available in the Mexican food aisle at West Coast retailers, including Kroger, Ralph’s, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Smith’s and King Soopers.

Two new PROBAR Meal Bar flavors-- Blueberry Muffin and S’mores-- launched this month, each containing 9 g of protein per serving. The new flavors are available at select retailers nationwide including REI, Whole Foods, Kroger and Albertson’s.
