Secrets to Successfully Engaging Consumers On Social Media

One of the biggest marketing issues still plaguing many food and beverage companies is how to implement a successful social media campaign.  Many wonder, “what’s the secret to interacting with consumers online?”

In an interview with FBU, Lara Bandler, a brand and marketing expert and the founder of Lara B Consulting, explains that identifying and engaging users and enthusiasts of your brand is critical to an effective social media strategy.

“I truly believe in looking for your fans and your followers, finding them when they’re already talking about you and engaging in any way possible,”Bandler said. “There are brands that I’m working with that have very few followers, and they’re just getting started and have 40 percent engagement [on social media], which is really high, and that’s because the people who follow them really care about their brand.”
