Paulaner USA is headquartered in White Plains, New York and imports Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Tsingtao, Fuller’s and Früli. Paulaner USA is adding a Logistics Coordinator position to its growing White Plains NY team.

Purpose:

Functions as a Logistics Coordinator, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product to customers, based on the customer orders, including warehouse scheduling, load releasing, and balancing of allocated product/inventory flow.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of processing releasing customer orders for shipment, fulfilling shipped orders, and receiving in inbound container paperwork in NetSuite.
  • Responsible for processing release orders for point of sale (glassware, signage, etc.) from 3rd party fulfillment center to customers.
  • Provide pro-active communication ensuring the Field Sales Team, management, and required others are kept “in the loop” on any relevant issues pertaining to product delivery, aged product, and other relevant supply chain/logistical issues.
  • Schedules freight through coordination of distributors, warehouses, brokers, and various freight lines.
  • Manage the out-bound freight costs to the lowest possible level by coordinating orders to utilize dropship and pooled shipments as much as possible.
  • Achieves at least 85% on-time and accurate delivery of product to the customer, as defined by the “expected date” issued by the customer, with consideration of LTL costs.
    • Extensive consideration given to maximizing efficient shipping whenever possible, by combining nearby customers’ orders onto dropship & pooled deliveries.
  • Ensures product rotation and warehouse transfer orders to minimize aged product.
  • Security and accounting for Product and POS inventories at remote warehouses, ensuring accurate perpetual-to-book inventories, bill-backs for differences, regular inventory audits, and product rotation.

Position Criteria:

  • Proficient with at least intermediate level Excel skills (pivot tables, V lookups, chart creation, etc.).
  • Minimum BS/BA in General Business with a concentration in Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 yrs. relevant experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and 3rd party analysis systems.
  • Excellent analytical & organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, self-starter, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
