Sales Manager – Food and Beverage

Tremendous potential for growth and advancement makes this is a one of a kind opportunity for a professional, creative, self-motivated, high energy sales person to take over the sales operations for an established beverage company featuring a very unique line of farm based, food and beverage. There is almost no national competition for this delicious, healthy line of products with a proven sales track record.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales along with a passion for growing the customer base vertically and horizontally. Reporting to the owner, this person will develop a sales strategy, directly sell and build a team to focus on 3 sales categories; ingredient, wholesale and food service.

Increase sales and direct and expand the customer base.
Focus on growing and managing wholesale sales to all levels of retail food stores.

Develop the relatively untapped ingredient sales category for these products.

Drive sales with existing and new accounts, develop and deliver superior account management, create and execute promotional and merchandising strategies.

Open new markets.
Supervise and develop solutions to customer relation issues.

Build and manage a sales team.

Proven sales and sales management track record in the Food and Beverage category.

Demonstratable sales experience including exceeding sales goals, prospecting, negotiating and closing skills.
High energy and engaging personality.

Have a passion for success.
Category knowledge, sales presentation, relationship building and territory management.
Strong work ethic a must.

Must reside within easy driving distance of the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Compensation will be highly competitive with industry rates and will be experience related. Will include a base salary, performance-based bonuses, two weeks paid vacation, health insurance, etc.
