Junior Process Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
2-3 years of experience in process design, process improvement, and operations
Experience with designing and building prototypes
Experience in field environment with industrial equipment
Experience working in a start-up environment (preferred)
Strong project management skills
Ability to take initiative and tackle new projects in innovation environment
Familiarity with PLC and DCS
Working knowledge of Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Visio
Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
Support process designs and development of PFD and P&ID
Support development of material / energy balances for unit operations
Support specification of process equipment, instruments, and piping/fittings
Support development of process control logic
Support development of electrical and control panel drawings
Support development of 3D model drawings
Support development of 2D fabrication drawings
Provide process engineering and troubleshooting support for installation team
Assist with design and testing of prototypes
Support manufacturing by working with equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers
Ability to interface with clients and team members easily
Reports to Chief Scientist
Your Compensation and Benefits:
Base pay of $50,000 - $60,000
Annual bonus tied to individual & company goals.
