Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 

  • 2-3 years of experience in process design, process improvement, and operations

  • Experience with designing and building prototypes 

  • Experience in field environment with industrial equipment   

  • Experience working in a start-up environment (preferred)

  • Strong project management skills 

  • Ability to take initiative and tackle new projects in innovation environment 

  • Familiarity with PLC and DCS 

  • Working knowledge of Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Visio

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support process designs and development of PFD and P&ID

  • Support development of material / energy balances for unit operations

  • Support specification of process equipment, instruments, and piping/fittings 

  • Support development of process control logic 

  • Support development of electrical and control panel drawings

  • Support development of 3D model drawings

  • Support development of 2D fabrication drawings 

  • Provide process engineering and troubleshooting support for installation team

  • Assist with design and testing of prototypes

  • Support manufacturing by working with equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers 

  • Ability to interface with clients and team members easily 

  • Reports to Chief Scientist

Your Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base pay of $50,000 - $60,000

  • Annual bonus tied to individual & company goals.
