Marketing Manager / Brand Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced part-time Marketing Manager to join the JOYÀ team in scaling our emerging brand. You are a storyteller, driven to inspire people through words and visuals. You are passionate about health and wellness and curious about the role of functional foods in promoting well-being. You are energetic, hard-working and motivated by the challenge of helping grow a business from the ground up.  

Reporting to the Founder and CEO, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and overseeing execution of our marketing plan to bring our brand and products to life across websites, social media, email and partner platforms, and to drive awareness and sales through our D2C channels. You will manage all marketing channels, including digital marketing efforts and collaborations. We are a lean internal team with strong consultants and agency partners. In this role, you will lead our larger marketing team, including performance marketing, social media and PY agencies and graphic designers.


Your mission

  • Manage and update our marketing plan and calendar

  • Lead all cross-channel campaign planning and activation

  • Manage creative team to ensure marketing needs are met in all creative material

  • Manage and support external agency partners (performance marketing, social media, PR) to achieve timely and on-brand execution of our marketing plan and bring marketing campaigns to fruition

  • Develop, maintain and ensure consistent communication of a compelling brand position across all communication channels and push for innovation

  • Identify PR opportunities and create stories to highlight JOYÀ’s story and industry-leading products

  • Manage, research and develop strong relationships with a targeted portfolio of ambassadors, influencers and content creators to drive brand awareness

  • Measure success of marketing campaigns, set KPIs/targets, and monitor and evaluate impact

  • Manage performance inclusive of dashboards, business analysis and basic reporting

  • Drive world-class go-to-market by developing strategic positioning, assets and collateral, and activation strategies

Your talent

  • Share our passion for health and wellness

  • Degree in Communications or Marketing

  • Extensive understanding of digital marketing metrics across all marketing channels including email marketing, PPC, Affiliates and social media marketing

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and thrive within a start-up environment 

  • Have 5+ years of experience in brand/product marketing with a solid understanding of advertising, digital marketing, PR, sales promotions and trade marketing

  • Experience in CPG and e-commerce, with experience in health and wellness being a strong plus

  • Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives; fluency in English

  • Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities and multi-tasking across numerous work streams



This role will be:

  • fully remote
  • to start, will be 2.5 days/week
