Los Angeles Market Manager

Jiant Hard Kombucha

Jiant is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced sales professional to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a high-impact role which will work closely with the SoCal Regional Sales Manager and distributor sales personnel to drive growth within the assigned territory and build the Jiant brand in a key market.

The Fundamentals

  • Maintain an efficient schedule including a daily route to drive toward monthly, quarterly and yearly territory goals

  • Schedule, coordinate and participate in in-store tastings and events as required/possible

  • Collaborate with distributor reps to execute new placement and volume growth goals as directed by Regional Sales Manager

  • Consistent email and phone communication, scheduled ride alongs and meet ups with distributor sales personnel

  • Communicate weekly recaps, market trends and other needs to Regional Sales Manager and distributor partner on a regular basis

  • Utilize sales tools (VIP, Nielsen, SPINS, IRI) to establish category leadership and identify opportunities

  • Detailed management of chain and account business to grow points of distribution, maintain schematic placements, pitch display programs and promotional opportunities

  • Must keep an organized schedule – you’ll be part of a lean team and will juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time

  • Cultivate strong industry relationships with key on and off premise retailers and decision makers

  • Maximize point-of-sale exposure in both on and off premise accounts

  • Role requires leadership skills in support of the Regional Sales Manager implementing the strategic business plan for the region

The Goods

  • Candidate must reside in assigned territory

  • Preferred 2-5 years experience within the Three-Tier system

  • Distributor relationship management experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant industry

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with Jiant team and Distributor personnel

  • Excellent time management & organization skills

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional nights and weekends

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and reliable transportation
