Cape May Brewing Company is celebrating 10 years of brewing craft beer in NJ.  Join our growing team and celebrate with us as we expand our brewing capacity in South Jersey. A brewer with CMBC is responsible for monitoring and carrying out brew house, fermenting filtration, blending processes and operations in the execution of the daily work schedule in a safe, timely and efficient manner.  

  • Lead by example in upholding the Company’s Core Values and promoting a positive and constructive working environment

  • Strict adherence to all CMBC quality and safety protocols

  • Perform all brew house procedures, including milling malt, mashing in brews, monitoring boils in the wort kettle, transferring to fermenters, and pitching yeast

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in the brew house and cellar

  • Keeping accurate records of all brewing procedures including temperature and flow monitoring

  • Sensory analysis of various products

  • Follow inventory procedures for all raw materials and assist with inventory counts as requested

  • Ensure that the brew house and surrounding areas are clean and organized 

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and communicate any equipment issues to the QA Manager in a timely manner

  • Constantly strive for improvement by looking for ways to make things better, safer, faster or by reducing costs

  • When needed, assist with accepting deliveries and other warehousing operations

  • Assist in other areas of the brewery on an as-needed basis
