The Business Development Manager reports directly to the CEO and is in charge of developing the US beverage sales and distribution initiative for our functional mushroom beverage brand, Teonan (teonan.com). The main goal of this position is to prospect and engage with new distributors and retail accounts, executing direct sales and maintaining accounts to assure client satisfaction. During the biweekly sales and development meeting this person will present the past weeks initiatives, challenges, sales, etc...and outline the short and medium term client outreach, prospecting and sales plan. He/She must maintain proper sales logs and track development discussions in the calendar. Follow up with client orders and communicate with the operations to assure they have the necessary inventory to fulfill the Business Development Manager accounts.
Compensation can be either a base salary plus commission or commission only.
Preference for direct experience with organic and healthy type retail accounts and distributors. Strong preference for someone coming in with relationships to execute new accounts immediately.
