A Compass Coffee Territory Manager will be responsible for increasing the availability and visibility of Compass Coffee products within a sales territory. Key responsibilities will include selling new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, executing promotions & marketing initiatives, and supporting Compass distributors. 


Responsibilities:

  • 100% focused on selling Compass Coffee to off-premise (CPG) and on-premise (foodservice) accounts 

  • Open new accounts through creative prospecting and cold calling

  • Grow existing accounts through addition of new products, line extensions, and marketing execution 

  • Improve visibility of Compass Coffee by executing POS placement, resetting shelves, and building displays 

  • Partner with distributor sales teams to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and sales at accounts are increasing

  • Educate accounts and distributors on the features and benefits of Compass Coffee 

  • Ensure Compass Coffee is viewed as best in class by providing excellent customer service to accounts and distributor partners


Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales; knowledge of the foodservice and/or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus 

  • Bachelor's degree required 

  • An intense competitive spirit with assertive, confident personality, and ability to influence others

  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results

  • Excellent problem solving & communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals

  • Ability to work effectively and demonstrate leadership amongst a cross-functional team 

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities 

  • Detailed oriented with the ability maintain organized administrative records
