Regional Sales Account Manager

Lakanto is growing quickly and looking for a sales account manager who will oversee and grow our international sales focusing on brokers and international grocery accounts.

Your duties will include developing sales plans, as well as assessing costs and our competitive advantages. In addition to being an effective communicator, the ideal candidate will also have a track record of demonstrated success negotiating deals and growing accounts.

 

 Position Responsibilities:

  • International sales responsibilities, primarily in Canada.

  • Develops and implements sales plans with a focus on achieving goals.

  • Generates accurate forecasting and sets performance goals accordingly.

  • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules and rates.

  • Advises retailers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers and clients in promoting sales.

  • Attends online industry events as well as trade shows.

  • Delivers sales presentations to clients.

  • Prepares regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

  • Responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives.

  • Travel required once travel is necessary.

 

Position Requirements:

  • International sales or business experience required, preferably in Canada.

  • Must have strong relationship building skills to develop new accounts, as well as successful long-term client/account management skills.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to stakeholders (current and potential clients, supervisors, internal customers and top management.)

  • Ability to respond to questions, inquiries and complaints from customers or members of the business community.

  • Must be able to order thoughts and ideas into a cohesive, articulate and concise presentation, either verbal or written.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information and legal documents.

  • Can solve practical problems that deal with simple to complex situations.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Must demonstrate cooperative behavior towards co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.

  • Must be able to work in our corporate office located in Orem, UT

 

Starting Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 + bonus (estimated at $10,000 to 25,000 annually), our bonuses are paid out mid-year and end of year.
