  • Effective leadership and management of National Sales Team 

  • Give direction in management of Regional Managers

  • Manage all reporting requirements of National Sales Team

  • Establish Key Market and Key Account Targets with Regional Managers

  • Work with Regional Managers setting sales goals for distributors and evaluating their performance against these goals monthly

  • Oversee and manage expenses of National Sales Team

  • Develop case and product allocations for all regions with Regional Managers

  • Coordinate sales training to sales team and key distributors

  • Review Distributors account placement and sales updates and compare performance to goals with Regional Managers

  • Work through Regional Manager to organize and conduct annual Distributor Reviews 

  • Development and maintenance of relationships with all key accounts

  • Inventory management/depletion management, including management of vintage change in the market

  • Development and tracking of Chain activity with Regional Managers by market

  • Development of national incentive programs

  • Schedule and participate in market blitzes and promotions where possible

  • Attend national trade events

  • Work with marketing to develop Point-of-Sale and product promotion material

  • Review depletion reports regularly and make proactive plans accordingly

  • Quarterly Budget Review with ownership and VP of Finance

  • Responsible for hiring of Regional Sales Managers/involvement in hiring certain administrative staff

  • Conduct annual sales team performance reviews


  • 7+ years’ experience in a VP or Director level Sales management position within the beverage (CPG) industry

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s level preferred 

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures 

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Great communication and presentation skills
