Southeast/Chicago Off-Premise Key Accounts Manager

Allagash is looking for an experienced and skilled sales professional to build the off-premise chain business in the Southeast (VA to GA) and Chicagoland markets. Building on our expansion into canning and subsequent increased package formats, this person will call on key national and regional accounts to expand our presence in retail coolers throughout the grocery and chain space.


This is an exciting time to join Allagash as we continue to grow in our existing footprint (17 states plus DC) and invest in our off-premise strategy. We are looking for someone with established national account relationships, stellar organization and follow-through skills, and dynamic presentation abilities.  This role is part of an off-premise key accounts team that will share best practices and collaborate on a winning approach. 


Allagash provides all the tools you need to succeed in the role: training on the Allagash story, data resources, laptop, car, mobile phone, travel and expense account, top of class marketing support, and 2-3 trips per year back to the brewery for information exchange and sharing.

This role entails regular analytical work, meeting with decision makers, and giving compelling and objective presentations. You’ll work with wholesaler partners to achieve goals, and communicate back to the Allagash sales team on forecasts and execution of goals.


To be considered, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years sales experience and a minimum of two years calling on national off-premise accounts in some capacity. A strong understanding of how national accounts operate and how to build brands through wholesalers is also required.  Candidates must possess a valid US driver's license and be comfortable with regular air travel.  


This is a full-time position. A flexible schedule is needed and will include overnight travel and occasional evening and weekend work.   Please submit a cover letter and resume in order to be considered for this position.
