Goodmylk Co is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our B2B and Grocery channels.  You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that allow for sustainable omni-channel financial & brand growth.   

This is a fast-paced work environment in a growing startup.  That means this role is very hands on and diverse. Candidates should be comfortable working from both the office and the field and willing to travel.  Must have strong leadership skills, be incredibly organized and a great problem solver.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute a growth strategy focused both on  meeting revenue targets and customer satisfaction

  • Identify new markets and customer needs

  • Arrange and lead meetings with prospective clients

  • Prepare & negotiate contracts 

  • Track relevant data needed for decision-making process  

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Develop jr sales staff into valuable salespeople including mentoring and management of OKRs

  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events

  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

  • Identify new trends through industry research and related events, publications, and announcements.

  • Track individual contributors and their accomplishments.

  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

  • Discover and explore business opportunities.

  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.. 

  • Create practices that bridge the gaps between sales, marketing & operations 

  Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role (minimum years? 5+)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field

  • Proven sales track record

  • Experience in customer support is a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Proficiency in English

  • Market knowledge

  • Communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build rapport

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty

  • Time management and planning skills

  • Excellent people management skills
