Rishi Tea & Botanicals seeks to add two Regional Sales Managers (one each for East and West regions) to drive growth in the company's retail CPG sales channel. Qualifications include 5+ years' experience in retail CPG sales in the specialty natural and specialty gourmet channels. Product families include dry grocery formats such as loose leaf tea, sachet tea bags, matcha as well as liquid grocery products such as Chai Concentrates (tetra paks). Future product categories include ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage. Experience in tea, coffee, or related beverage categories is preferred.

Location: Flexible. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by acquiring new retail grocery chain accounts (serviced through distribution partners UNFI and KeHE) and extending product placement within existing accounts
  • Develop and execute sales & marketing plans for the retail CPG channel, including promotions, demos, advertising, and merchandizing activities
  • Manage and cultivate strong retail broker partnerships
  • Leverage retail data analytics to produce compelling presentations; deliver during category reviews and business meetings with distributors, retailers, and brokers
  • Share market intelligence with teammates and the company's R&D team; participate in new retail CPG product development as needed
  • Represent the Rishi brand at relevant industry trade shows including major national shows and regional UNFI / KeHE tabletop shows
