Oath Operations Manager
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and driven person to join the team as our Operations Manager. Oath (www.oathlife.com) is a true start-up, so you will be asked to wear many different hats and take initiative to get things done. This is not a 9 to 5, clock in / clock out mindset job.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish, align and maximize timing/quality/financial efficiencies with vendors and suppliers across our supply chain- from product development formulas to ingredients purchasing to production to distribution to sales support.
You will monitor inventory levels, production runs, freight/facility vendors, company assets, and shipping to ensure we are getting the most out of our existing processes and relationships resulting in minimized costs, maximized efficiencies and an amazing finished product that meets our OATH to the market- strict quality standards.
Translate Product R&D Formulas to Production Run Ingredients Purchasing- Work with the product development R&D team to efficiently source and purchase high quality organic, kosher, vegan, dairy-free, non GMO, gluten-free ingredients. Additionally work with design teams to efficiently source bottles, labels, packaging and sales support assets and materials.
Maintain Production Run Quality Standards- Oversee production process for all Oath products- scheduling production runs so that all ingredients, bottles, labels, packaging all come together and are then shipped to inventory. Keep proper documentation on all production runs, safety & compliance records, and vendor communications.
Manage Wholesale Distribution- Manage relationships with our carriers and storage facilities for efficient and cost-effective movements to a rapidly growing list of wholesale accounts in strategic cities and anticipating inventory needs for those areas. Continually vet carriers to bring down freight expenses.
Support Merchandising Activities- Purchase, inventory and track usage of sales support materials. Work with Sales Support staff and vendors to deliver product, signage, promotional materials, refrigerator units to promotional meetings, in-store demos and events
Financial Forecasting and Reporting- Establish, manage and update online/cloud software and dashboards showing accurate reporting of all purchasing, production runs, product distribution, inventories, sales, promotional materials and assets, and relationships. Weekly review with management to review the numbers with a view to future financial goals and needs. Work with bookkeeper to track/approve/challenge vendor invoices.

Maintain Direct-To-Consumer & Wholesale Inventories- Record and report changing inventories available so product skus are consistently shipping to keep up with retail and wholesale demand.
Manage Direct-to-Consumer Distribution- Maintain day to day communication with delivery vendors to guarantee scheduled pickups and deliveries nationwide while keeping an accurate account of product movements out of multiple cold storage hubs. Identify, test, and quote out new logistics and courier companies to minimize delivery expenses and time lags.
Experience Requirements- We would like for you to have at least 2 years of experience in operations, preferably with a food, beverage, fashion, or cosmetics company.Experience as a management consultant or operations consultant is a plus. It is important to have a clear command of the English language and excellent online project management and communication skills.
