North Bay Area Sales Manager


CLEAN Cause is a fast-growing Austin based beverage company making a social impact! Our mission is to create a sustainable source of funding to help individuals recover from alcohol and drug addiction with 50% of profits supporting sobering living scholarships to give individuals leaving rehab a fresh start. We like working with ambitious people who are ready to make a difference!

Purpose: Sell CLEAN Cause by expanding customer base; working with natural channel brokers; supporting events, demos and marketing efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing total territory points of distribution.

  • Develop and maintain an organized list of target/key accounts in the territory.

  • Directly manage all aspects of assigned sales territory.

  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions and assist with special events as necessary

  • Complete daily account visit reports, monthly expense reports, and other surveys and reports as required.

At Retail:

  • Secure displays/secondary space, shelf space and share of cold box.

  • Improve CLEAN Cause location in every account. Increase visibility through point-of-sale.

  • Maintain positive business relationships and communication with account owners, managers, and buyers.

  • Identify and successfully sell to new customers.

  • Provide excellent customer service through developing a regular route/call pattern to sell displays, place permanent point-of-sale, plan promotional activities, and provide CLEAN Cause education, etc.

Basics for the Position:

  • Be an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-disciplined, competitive, assertive, confident, and goal-oriented self-starter with the desire to succeed.

  • Be able to work independently and with the rest of the sales team to accomplish goals.

  • Be able to manage a territory from a home-office base.

  • Be very organized in order to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.

  • Have excellent problem solving and time management skills

  • Be able to travel daily, work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

  • Be proficient with both email and Google Drive

  • Commit to constantly improving knowledge of CLEAN Cause products and the general Yerba Mate industry.

Candidate Should Have:

  • A safe driving record

  • A valid driver’s license

  • A registered, insured, and dependable vehicle

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development or related field

  • Prior experience in the natural food and/or beverage industry
