About Arcana Distilling
Arcana is a new worker-owned distillery in St. Louis, Missouri. Arcana promotes respect for labor and supports the local economy through manufacturing. We make our own rye whiskeys and fruit brandies using a pot-still and locally sourced fruits and grains.
Arcana is looking for a founding member to join our team. Founding members exchange up-front pay and risk for the long term reward of owning the company and increased income as our whiskey ages and the business grows.
Manage and track sales objectives
Manage sales and distribution budget
Cultivate new sales accounts
Work with the Arcana Team to build and strengthen points of distribution
Craft, execute, and evaluate business development and marketing campaigns
Conduct product tastings and attend promotional events on a regular basis
Manage promotions and branding through social media accounts
Maintain sobriety and professionalism while working and representing the distillery
Minimum 4 years sales support, sales rep or distributor experience, within the spirits / wine /beer industry.
Experience in retail, inventory management or e-commerce
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledge of food and dining social and political movements and trends
Ability to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as necessary to support sales activities
Ability to manage own activities and cooperate with a team
Willing to be a founding member including the risk and rewards of being a part of a growing business
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Friendly with strong public speaking and presentation skills that can influence customers and sales partnerships
Clean driving record
Strong PC skills with experience using MS Office Suite, Collaborative Google Drive, and Salesforce or similar POS tracking systems
Pay is based on the success of the business
Guaranteed a minimum salary during initial stages
