YOUR ROLE:

We have a product that people love, but we need it on more shelves and better support for the shelves we’re on!  That’s where you’ll come in.  As our Area Sales Manager in the NY Metro area, you’ll work directly with our distribution partners, retailers and internal team to significantly build our top line sales in one of the most important regions in the country.    

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors and brokers
  • Maintain key existing accounts by developing relationships with key stakeholders to sell in additional SKUs, additional facings, new placements, and other opportunities to grow sales volume
  • Acquire new regional retail chains across the NY Tri-State area
  • Track, analyze and optimize sales traction in the region
  • Develop relationship with local distributors and their reps
  • Participate in weekly sales calls to highlight successes, discuss challenges, and understand company-wide strategies
  • Track performance of market to develop and execute improvement opportunities
  • Own relationship with key accounts

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in consumer Food/Beverage product sales
  • Proven success in sales call strategies
  • Creative presentation/public speaking and selling skills are a must
  • Ability to formulate account strategies and execute against them
  • Professional demeanor in working with coworkers, distributors, retail reps and consumers
  • Entrepreneurially minded and willing to take on tasks outside of the expected roles and responsibilities
  • Must be able to use basic features in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Passionate about the SOUND brand and product
