Regional Sales Manager Northeast

Full-Time Position | Location: Northeast United States

The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for driving and developing retail sales for the Northeast United States. S/he will strategize, plan and execute directly with our retail partners and distributors. S/he will be expected to grow sales through increased distribution, promotion planning and successful new item launch campaigns. The position has geographical accountability for retailer headquarter calls, managing regional direct customers, developing/executing retail merchandising activities and managing broker representatives.



  • Meet/exceed annual new and existing customer revenue and profit goals for all company’s products in the Northeast
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Secure and expand distribution in assigned sales channels by calling on accounts both independently, with distributor personnel, and with third party brokers
  • Utilize syndicated data to inform decisions and growth strategies
  • Responsible for meeting annual sales, profit and market share goals
  • Review sales results and customer satisfaction measures and compares them to established objectives


  • BA in business or related field required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of CPG sales experience required
  • Proven experience meeting/exceeding annual new and existing customer revenue and profit goals for all company’s products in the region in multiple categories.
  • Must have strong existing account relationships within the territory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the year
