Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Region. The individual in this role will increase Reed’s position in the field and lead conversations with our distributors to enhance our presence in stores. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager will execute channel strategies and look for creative solutions to drive additional sales growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain DSD wholesaler and broker relationships
  • Create annual sales plans, track volume and manage promotional spend/budget for region
  • Understand and utilize retail databases for retail client analysis
  • Build key customer relationships while identifying opportunities to drive more sales
  • Monitoring customer, market and competitive activity and provide feedback to company leadership
  • Develop accounts for On-Premise, Liquor & Package, C-Store Channels
    • Secure new end caps, floor displays, cold box placements, etc.
    • Schedule and conduct distributor team meetings to inform, taste and educate sales representatives of brand standards to optimize sales performance
    • Manage market work with distributor sales representatives
    • Ensure all sales efforts are in compliance with state laws
    • Submit and review a weekly account report, monthly calendar and sales planner
    • Maintain accurate records regarding distributor profiles, retail and distribution, and competitive activity and pricing
    • Consistently educate, mentor, and motivate DSD sales and management team members on brand strategies and opportunities

     

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, statistics, business or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years progressive sales experience in CPG, natural foods, beverage
    • Working knowledge of retail sales database systems
    • Experience creating and executing sales plans
    • Extensive experience in the beverage business and a successful history of managing people, multiple territories, markets and some Chain Sales experience
      • Travel 50%
      • Proficiency in Microsoft products
      • Self-starter and attention to detail
      • Passion for the brands and industry
