Minna - Organic Sparkling Tea

Minna is at the intersection of “better for you” sparkling beverages.  Minna is an organic, unsweetened, lightly brewed sparkling tea with the social mission to be the tea for “everyone.”  The health focused consumer wants a transparent product they can trust, but also a company are proud to support.  Minna means “everyone” – we donate 1% of sales to nonprofits advocating for inclusion, focused on supporting communities still fighting for equality.  We really are as good as we taste.

Our team is looking for a sales representative who will uphold the values of our unique and purpose-driven business model, exceed targets, and make bold moves that support innovative wins.

Sales representatives are evaluated based on their ability to empower partners, achieve sales goals, and exhibit strong leadership qualities. Representatives will use systems that support efficiency and efficacy in all areas of work: one must be self- motivated and extremely well organized. An ideal candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate obstacles and respond well in a environment of dynamic change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outside sales planning, strategy, merchandising, and route development
  • Empower business through diligent and informed communications to our distributors, brokers, retailers, and team
  • Implement, monitor, and analyze creative sales tactics and report outcomes
  • Train and/or mentor brand ambassadors, distribution, and merchandising partners
  • Discuss and commit to 30/60/90 Goals and annually-based KPIs
  • Increase velocity and product mix in current doors and key retailers
  • Acquire new retail partnerships and create new business opportunities
  • Create, analyze, and execute innovative promotions
  • Support East Coast Team Special Projects

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Responsible, self-motivated, dependable, and fun
  • Outgoing and personable, capable of nurturing relationships as well as engaging strangers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-3 years combined experience in a sales territory, activating new markets and/or working with key retailers
  • A proven track record of result driven planning and project management
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred

JOB SPECIFICS

  • Full-time, salaried position, located in New York City
  • 40+ hours per week, medical benefits
  • Ability to be on the road, public transit, walk long distances, endure outside conditions year round
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs an execute delivery of  cases in the field
  • Valid driver's license and demonstrated driving skills in urban areas
  • Ability to plan and organize (frequently-changing) schedule according to travel, and priority
  • Exceptional leadership experience with the ability to lead and influence team members
