THE JOB

We are seeking a full-time product marketer to join our growing team. The goal of this position is to create quality leads for our sales team that convert to high-value relationships with food and beverage brands, suppliers and service providers.

BevNET is a media and events company. The first part of your role is to create demand for our advertising and events sponsorship products across BevNET brands and audiences. In a given day, you will work on packaging products, segmenting audiences, list building, creating specific value propositions and creating content to drive quality leads through campaigns.

The second part of the role directly supports the accompanying sales efforts. You will write product pitches that in turn will become landing pages and slideware to  directly support our sales efforts.

A product marketer should have excellent to superior ability to eloquently turn features into value propositions for an audience. They should have strong product-oriented writing capabilities, an understanding of a demand funnel and the ability to manage it from across stages. You care about the metrics, the dashboard and the impact of your activities from awareness to conversion.

We are looking for someone with an eye for - and ability to create the killer slide (with help from the design team as needed) and who knows what makes a compelling landing page.  A visual thinker whose preferred mediums are Google Slides and HTML is a strong candidate. Product marketing will collaborate with marketing, design and sales on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will also help unify our messaging across our platforms. Our leads come from a variety of industries, and the ability to create messaging that resonates with a variety of targets is preferred.

We are a small but nimble team so experience in a startup environment or being a part of early-stage teams is an advantage. This is the opportunity to jump in head first and help create a robust funnel for our growing sales team.

The position is located in our Watertown Square office, which is accessible to public transportation including express bus service from downtown Boston. Parking is also available.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Reports to CMO)

  • Package products and create value within the BevNET, NOSH, Taste Radio and Brewbound brands.

  • Manage the funnel from awareness to interest. Build your dashboard and optimize your activities for conversion.

  • Generate leads through inbound and outbound, multi-channel campaigns.

  • Segmentation and list building across suppliers, service providers and brands.

  • Create pitches and build killer slideware in Google Slides (working collaboratively is a must).

  • Work with marketing team to create and optimize landing pages across products.

  • Build and execute an account-based marketing strategy with CMO and sales team.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of marketing or creative writing background with 1-3 years of product marketing experience in food, beverage, media, events or technology.

  • Strong ability to create eye catching, eloquent slideware that tells a story visually.

  • Strong B2B marketing experience

  • Attention to detail, excellent communicator.

  • Experience collaborating with the Google G-Suite platform:Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Presentations.

  • Workflow experience in Asana, Jira or similar.

  • Nice to have: some HTML and / or Wordpress experience

  • Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce CRM.
