Our client is a global experiential marketing agency comprised of pioneers and practitioners of lifestyle marketing. They specialize in delivering strategic, business-oriented marketing solutions for leading brands via sport and entertainment, live experiences, retail marketing, enterprise/business-to-business engagement and sponsorship marketing.

We are searching for a Market Manager for their location in Oklahoma. 

 POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Market Manager is responsible for organizational management of our consumer engagements in the field. This person will provide leadership for vent teams within the Oklahoma territory and will be the point of contact for all client managers.

Responsibilities

Organizational Purpose:

  • Recruit top quality promotional models for consumer facing event execution and trade focused initiatives
  • Ensure all promotional staff have completed training brand and program modules in LMS prior to working
  • Staff events using an online scheduling system. Scheduling should be according to target consumer, account selection and program objectives
  • Manage, motivate and mentor part-time team
  • Maintain, manage and coordinate POS inventory for all local event activity
  • Ensure execution excellence through on-site attendance and/or quality control methods
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate data reporting
  • Provide insightful feedback to enhance execution /KPI achievement
  • Advise clients and distributors on appropriate account selection
  • Actively seek out and identify local event opportunities
  • Adhere to state liquor laws and regulations, as well as company and client policies and responsibility code

Financial Responsibility:

  • Create, manage, track and reconcile program budgets and event expenses
  • Track and manage monthly event billing and payment
  • Manage payroll process and expenses of promotional staff
  • Manage account spends and check reconciliation
  • Manage personal Travel and Entertainment (T&E) expenses

Management Responsibility:

  • Reports to Regional Director or Senior Market Manager
  • Works with client Managers and Distributor Representatives
  • Direct reports – Promotional Models

Outputs:

  • On-going communication with local client and distributors
  • Participate in national and regional conference calls
  • Provide feedback to Account Service Team
  • Maintain Online scheduling and staffing system
  • Maintain Event Management Center (EMC)
  • Manage promotional model pool to ensure the models support business needs
  • Staff events accordingly
  • Manage POS/warehouse/kitting process
  • Maintain account/contact lists
  • Cascade client responsible marketing code

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years prior experience in planning and executing field activations
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Thorough knowledge of wine and spirits industry
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to effectively source candidates to ensure a match to the position/organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
