Smoky, nutty, and a faint coffee-like flavor - this is one delicious and unique ice cream.

Dolmas aren't for everyone. These typical dolmas are grape leaves stuffed with a rice mixture. They're served cool and have a delicious delicate pickle-like flavor, light vinegar and olive oil. These are great dolmas.

Crispy & crunchy on the outside, silky and flavorful on the inside, and with a carefully balanced, mouth-watering spice - this is one of the best falafels I have ever tasted.

This sounded spectacular on paper, but is simply "pretty good" - largely due to the underseasoned pork. Served with pickled fennel, arugula, and pineapple chutney on a ciabatta loaf. To remedy the underseasoned pork, simply ask for some of the tasty artisinal salts they keep on hand and pour it on generously.

It's on the "hot" menu, but is served cool. Dense, almost-Italian meatloaf, topped with cheese and the most amazing homemade bacon. Also served with a slightly spicy tomato/bbq sauce. Usually served on cornbread, but they were out so I opted for a biscuit instead. I liked the sandwich, but think that warm meatloaf (maybe with a quick sear before serving) would really improve it. The bacon was out-of-this-world good, though.

I generally like my Oysters plain, and on the half shell - but damn are these shooters tasty. They come three ways: Traditional (Cocktail Sauce & Horseraddish), Baja (Lime & Salsa), and Miyagi (Ginger & Roe). All three are outstanding, and a great, safe way to introduce Oyster-virgins to natures most erotic food.

Let me be honest - my Key Lime is the best. Any time I order "Key Lime Pie" at a restaurant, I usually end up with disgusting green cheesecake-like garbage, nobody gets it right. But I'll tell you what - King's does it right. This is flawless, classic Key Lime Pie. Now I still like mine more (I employ a few tricks to make it extra, extra tart), but I approve of this pie. To date, no other restaurant anywhere has earned my recommendation, and since you probably won't get to try MY take on this Florida classic, this is seriously high praise.

Ick. If you want proper, quality Fish & Chips, go to The Olde Ship in Santa Ana. The stuff here is nasty. It honestly reminded me of frozen, store-bought Gorton's fish sticks. For $17, I expect a lot more than bland, crumbly food for picky 5-year-olds... especially when the best Fish & Chips in SoCal is just a few miles away at The Olde Ship.

A great way to start a night. Perfectly prepared, swimming in their own briny liquor, and served with horseradish, lemon, vinegar, and homemade cocktail sauce. The sampler includes 1 each of their 9 available varieties. Mmmmm.
