We’re looking for a fractional finance partner who can help us turn our numbers into clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Role Overview

We need a Fractional Finance Lead who can own our monthly financial operations and translate them into actionable insights. This role is perfect for a strong bookkeeper or controller with CPG/beverage experience who enjoys working with early-stage brands and wants to make a meaningful impact without the demands of full-time work.

This is not a tax-only or transactional bookkeeping role.

This is a hands-on financial partner who can both do the work and explain the story behind the numbers.

Estimated workload: 5-10 hours/month

Compensation: Hourly or monthly retainer, DOE

What You’ll Own

1. Monthly Accounting & Reconciliation

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and Park Street monthly statements

Maintain and optimize our QuickBooks Online file

Ensure accurate revenue recognition, COGS tracking, and fee allocation

Keep books clean, current, and ready for tax preparation

2. Park Street Operations Integration

Pull and interpret Park Street sales, fee, and inventory reports

Tie Park Street payouts to GL revenue

Build a smooth monthly workflow for Park Street to Accounting

3. Financial Reporting & Insight

Deliver a monthly Finance Pack that includes:

P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow

Gross margin analysis

Inventory position & recommended reorder timing

Clear, simple narrative explaining performance, risks, and opportunities

We want someone who can help us see the business, not just the numbers.

4. Strategic Partner to the CEO

Translate financial data into plain English

Help forecast cash needs and burn

Provide guidance on SKU profitability as we grow

Recommend improvements in processes, spend, or ops

Ideal Experience

3+ years in accounting or finance for CPG, spirits, or beverage alcohol brands

Hands-on experience with Park Street’s reporting and payout structure

Strong command of QBO

Experience with inventory-based businesses

Ability to create simple, digestible financial reports for non-finance founders

A mindset of curiosity, clarity, and partnership
